Mr. Muhammad Dawood Bazai; Secretary Energy signed MoU with IDSP
In an attempt to advance Variable Renewable Energy (VRE) potential, feasibility, planning and expansion, the Energy Department, Government of Balochistan inked an MOU with Institute for Development Studies and Practices (IDSP) on January, the 7th, 2025.
Signed by Secretary Energy, Mr. Muhammad Dawood Bazai and Founding Director Dr. Quratul-ain Bakhteari (IDSP), the collaboration aims to develop renewable energy strategy and policy to promote innovative solutions, aligned with Pakistan’s 30% renewable energy target by 2030.
Key stakeholders, including Energy Department officials and IDSP representatives, attended the MOU signing ceremony, emphasizing shared goals to drive sustainable development, reduce environmental impact and transform Balochistan’s energy landscape. (07-01-2025)
